CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

  1. All bookings are made in advance and are confirmed by letter on receipt of a deposit.  Full and final payment must be made at least seven days prior to hire by cheque or alternatively, in cash to the driver on the day, prior to the outward journey commencing. Failure to comply will be treated as a cancellation.
  1. Details given to us at the time of booking are treated as final.  Variations, e.g. times, departure and drop off points, destinations etc. will be accommodated as far as possible, but cannot be guaranteed.  Amendments to bookings must be made prior to the journey and not with the driver.
  1. Drivers are instructed to wait no more than 15 (fifteen) minutes for picking up on the outward and return journeys.
  1. The Company must reserve the right, in case of travel difficulties, e.g. road conditions, weather, to cancel or alter any arrangements made.  Refunds are then limited to any monies paid to JP Travel, who remain exempt from any further liability.
  1. Refunds for cancelled bookings will be made if at least seven days notice is given (or otherwise notified by us).  Failure to do so will result in 50% cancellation fee (or as otherwise notified by us).  The deposit is not refundable.
  1. In certain circumstances, e.g. stag nights, hen parties, a security deposit of £100.00 (or otherwise notified by us) will be payable at the time of booking.  This will be refunded, by cheque (by post) the day following the return journey, once the vehicle has been checked for damage.  Should any damage be present, then the repair / cleaning costs (and also off road and lost revenue costs if applicable) will be deducted from the deposit and a cheque sent for the balance.  Should the costs exceed the deposit, then an invoice will be sent to the person booking the vehicle and this amount will be payable within 7 (seven) days.  Failure to comply will result in action being taken to recover the amount.  The person booking the vehicle will be held responsible for any such costs.
  1. Bad behaviour on our vehicles will not be tolerated and J P Travel reserves the right to cease any journey should this occur.  In such circumstances, no refund will be made, and passengers will be responsible for the cost of their own journey to their destination.
  1. Food and drink (including alcohol) is not permitted on our vehicles.
  1. Passengers’ baggage and other personal property remains at all times and in all circumstances, the passengers’ sole risk.  J P Travel will not be liable or responsible for loss or damage, howsoever caused.
  1. J P Travel are fully insured, in accordance with the provision of the Road Traffic Act, 1930.  They shall not be liable or responsible for the death or personal injury, illness or convenience to any person unless resulting from the negligence of J P Travel, or their servants.
